About

My name’s Ned Resnikoff. I’m the policy director of California YIMBY, an organization that advocates at the state level for more housing and other policies that we believe will make the state a more affordable, inclusive, equitable, and sustainable place to live.

In the past, I was a reporter and editor for various moribund news outlets, and later an analyst for the California Legislative Analyst’s Office. Prior to my current job, I was policy manager at UCSF’s Benioff Homelessness and Housing Initiative.

This is my newsletter. Since it's a hobby and not my job, I post updates only as time allows. And needless to say, everything written here represents my views, and my views alone—not those of my employer.
